Urban Ed: Day 8 Wrap-Up

One more day! I’m hosting office hours 9:00 – 10:00 tonight for anyone who wants to stop by to talk about the course or upcoming assignments.

Major to-dos

  • Be ready to present your final project tomorrow!
  • Get all thank-you notes done
  • If you’re in the hotel, meet in the lobby at 7:45.

8:30 – 12:00 Site visit: Jackson Reed High School

  • Folks at the hotel, we will meet in the hotel lobby at 7:45 and walk to Gallery Place to take the red line up (https://maps.app.goo.gl/QTWFGwtNfVYKDfaL7)
  • Commuters, the nearest metro stop is Tenleytown on the red line

12:30 – 1:30 Lunch

  • We’ll take the red line back together

2:00 – 4:00 Final presentations

6:15 – 8:00 Closing dinner

Things to complete by tomorrow

  • Complete your final presentation. You will not have time tomorrow to work on it before you present. 
  • All thank-you notes are due TOMORROW. If you are writing a note for someone we are meeting tomorrow, be prepared to write it during lunch or between the final presentations and dinner.
